Shepherd Center offers a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to choose plans and programs that suit their needs. Benefit plans are available for employees who work a minimum of 16 hours per week; 30-day waiting period from date of hire.

Health Insurance: There are three comprehensive health care plans with varying levels of benefits and costs. All plans include hospitalization, physicians and prescription coverage.

Dental Insurance: Employees may choose from two comprehensive dental plans.

Life Insurance: Basic life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage is available at a minimal cost.

Disability Insurance: Short-term and long-term disability options are available.

Flexible Spending Account: May be used for any uncovered medical expenses.

Dependent Care: Reimbursement for geriatric or childcare expenses is available.

Paid Days Off: Paid days off are accrued based on an employee's regularly scheduled hours. Accrual begins on the first day of employment. Paid time off can be used after 90-day probationary period.
