Foundations for Successful Outcomes After Acute Spinal Cord Injury

This course is designed for healthcare professionals with an understanding of spinal cord injury. This course will highlight the need for interdisciplinary evaluation, treatment and prevention of complications to maximize functional outcomes for persons with acute spinal cord injury. Considerations for the neurogenic bowel and bladder will be emphasized through case studies and group discussion, as well as their impact on functional outcomes.
