The Shepherd Center Board of Directors welcomes Clark Dean, who has been appointed to serve a three-year term. The Board, which has 24 members, focuses on hospital operations and cultivating support for the Center’s mission.
Dean is senior managing director of Corporate Services Group (CSG), Studley Inc., a commercial real estate firm. Dean is responsible for developing and executing a national strategy to procure and service the most complex corporate real estate brokerage and consulting assignments for the firm.
“Our directors are successful executives who have developed an outstanding reputation in the community,” says James H. Shepherd Jr., chairman of the Board. “We’re pleased that Clark Dean is joining the Board, and looking forward to his contribution in forming strategic goals.”
Dean is an active member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta and the Harvard Club of Georgia and New York City. He also serves on several boards, including Central Atlanta Progress, Associated Insurance Administrators, Inc., and The Martha C. and Harry Jeffcoat, Jr. Foundation. In 2005, Dean was recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in its annual “40 under 40” list for his contributions and leadership in his company and community.
Dean received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Biological Sciences, cum laude, from Harvard University. He has furthered his professional development through executive education at Harvard Business School.
