In-Center SchoolingShepherd Center employs a full-time schoolteacher who provides weekly instruction in groups or individually as needed. Our teacher works with a student's school system to ensure that credit is given for the time spent in Shepherd Center's classroom and therapies.When a patient returns to school, Shepherd Center helps ease the transition with a program called No Obstacles. It may include awareness and sensitivity training for school staff and students, as well as instruction in medical issues that may arise during the school day.
