Vocational Rehabilitation

A disabling injury often challenges a person to uncover untapped abilities or potential. For many Shepherd Center patients and their families, finding meaningful work or volunteer opportunities gives rehabilitation extra meaning, which can have a lasting impact on a person's health and quality of life.

Shepherd Center also fosters partnerships with employers, other rehabilitation providers and community agencies to increase job opportunities for people with disabilities, as well as market candidates to employers who recognize that workers with disabilities are part of work force diversity.
