 This conference is intended for professionals involved in the treatment of individuals with spinal cord injury, including nurses, occupational therapists, certified occupational therapist assistants, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, case managers, and exercise specialists.The main course will provide basic-to intermediate-level information. The one-day courses are offered at an intermediate level.

Wednesday, May 1: Understanding Pain and Spasticity After Neurologic Injury. This course is designed to broaden the knowledge base of pain and spasticity for medical staff working with individuals with a variety of neurological disorders. A focus on the differential diagnosis of pain and spasticity, the medical management, and therapeutic interventions will be highlighted. Click here for a list of presenters.

Thursday, May 2 - Friday, May 3: Main Conference. This course is designed to broaden the knowledge base of medical staff working with individuals with a individuals with spinal cord injury. Saturday, June 8: Health, Wellness, and Exercise Prescription After Spinal Cord Injury. This course is designed to broaden the knowledge base of therapist on improving health, wellness & functional abilities of clients with spinal cord injury through the use of exercise prescription. The course will address the evidence behind the risk for cardiovascular disease, treatment modification, considerations, and precautions for treating individuals with spinal cord injury. Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Prep Course. CRRN Review Course May 28, 29 & 30, 2013.

• Objective is to provide a review for RNs that are eligible to sit for the CRRN exam. Must complete all three days to receive 21.5 contact hours. Cost is $99.
