Wheelchair Division of the Peachtree Road Race

Shepherd Center sponsors the Wheelchair Division of the Peachtree Road Race each July 4 in Atlanta.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for a number of duties. If you are interested in volunteering, please download the Volunteer Job Description List and return the Volunteer Application Form.The deadline for returning this form has been extended, so be sure to return the form as quickly as possible to secure a volunteer position.

If more than one person from your family would like to volunteer, print off multiple copies of the application form and return a form for each person.

Confirmation letters will be sent toward the middle of June. The letter will detail the job category, time frame and other pertinent race information. Returning your application quickly will help to ensure placement in a top preference area.

As a result of the drought, the race will not finish at Piedmont Park this year. Instead, the new finish will be at the corner of Juniper Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue.

This will affect the 2008 Pit Crew/ Finish Line Support positions. If you plan on volunteering in one of these positions, you will receive detailed information in your confirmation letter regarding these changes.
