Ford Vox, M.D., medical director of Shepherd Center’s Disorders of Consciousness (DoC)  Program and co-chair of the Shepherd Center’s Ethics Committee, will provide an overview of ethical controversies in the field of acquired brain injury. Clinical examples will be provided to foster discussion among the participants surrounding ethical considerations regarding end-of-life considerations, the right to-try debate, restraint use and prognostic uncertainty.
