This course provides a holistic foundation for healthcare professionals to incorporate sexuality and intimacy into the brain injury rehabilitation process, regardless of stage of recovery. It introduces common definitions, considerations of the patient and family, addresses factors that influence personal beliefs, as well as perceived barriers to addressing sexuality and intimacy in customary care.
