Emily Cade, MS, CCM, CRC, CLCP
Director of Outpatient Services
Emily Cade, MS, CCM, CRC, CLCP, is the director of outpatient services at Shepherd Center. Emily has worked at Shepherd Center since 2004, first as a case manager and then as a program manager for the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute. She was appointed to her current position in 2015.
As a member of the senior management team, Emily directs Shepherd Center Outpatient Services, which includes the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute, Shepherd Spine and Pain Institute, the Multi-Specialty Clinic, Urology Clinic, Wound Clinic and Medical Imaging Services. She is responsible for the department’s activities and operations, providing oversight of program management activities, including business development, clinical services and financial growth.
Emily has served as the key speaker at numerous events on multiple sclerosis, case management and disability education. She also has been published on the development and rehabilitation of multiple sclerosis.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Emily received her bachelor’s degree in speech communication education and her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. Emily holds various professional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Case Manager, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Life Care Planner.
Emily resides in Decatur with her twin daughters, Berkley and Harper, and her partner Beth. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family and friends.
