Philip Wexler, M.D., is the medical director of pulmonology and respiratory therapy services at Shepherd Center. He joined the medical staff in November of 2020.
Dr. Wexler received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His sub-specialty training was in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, allergy and immunology at the Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Before joining Shepherd Center, Dr. Wexler was a physician partner at Berks Schuylkill Respiratory Specialists in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania
