Gary A. James, PsyD, joined Shepherd Center in 2004. He is the neuropsychology supervisor at Shepherd Pathways, Shepherd’s post-acute brain injury program, as well as the Complex Concussion Clinic and the SHARE Military Initiative. Dr. James graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Baylor University in 2002. He serves as adjunct faculty in psychology graduate programs at Argosy University, Atlanta, where he has taught since 2006. Dr. James provides neuropsychological assessment and neurobehavioral treatment for adolescents and adults with a range of neurologic illnesses and provides treatment primarily through individualized and group interventions. He is also the primary clinical supervisor for all trainees at Shepherd Pathways, the Complex Concussion Clinic, and the SHARE Military Initiative.
