Beth is a physical therapist and research scientist for both the Hulse Lab and the Clinical Trials teams. In the Hulse lab, Beth coordinates the Dose-response Effects of Whole Body Vibration on Spasticity and Walking in Spinal Cord Injury study, which is evaluating the most effective dose of Whole Body Vibration for reducing spasticity and pain, and for improving walking function and leg strength for people with SCI. Her clinical roles and interests are working with individuals with spinal cord injury with a focus on health and wellness as well as applying the principles of neuroplasticity and various technologies to maximize function and recovery. Beth is also an Indego instructor and has worked with the exoskeleton since its development both in research and clinical settings.
