Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Fellowship

Fellowship Training at Shepherd Center

Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is offering a new fellowship training opportunity in spinal cord injury medicine. This is an ACGME-accredited fellowship sponsored by Emory University School of Medicine.

The fellow will gain substantial inpatient experience treating some of the most complex spinal cord injury patients. The fellow will have a weekly continuity clinic at Shepherd Center throughout the fellowship. Additionally, the fellow will have the opportunity to do consulting, neuroradiology, and outpatient rotations at partnering institutions, including Emory University Hospital, and Grady Memorial Hospital.

More than half of the fellowship, including all inpatient brain injury rotations, takes place at Shepherd Center, a private, not-for-profit hospital that is ranked as a top 10 rehabilitation hospital by U.S. News & World Report and specializes in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions.
