Expected Traffic Delays in Atlanta

Fire damage on Thursday, March 30, 2017 led to the closure of a portion of Interstate 85 northbound and southbound in northeast Atlanta (northeast of Shepherd Center), and traffic has been very congested on other Atlanta-area interstate highways and secondary roads. The closed portion of the interstate is expected to reopen on May 15, 2017.

Until then, Shepherd Center patients who are scheduled to be seen in the hospital's clinics and day programs should call 404-352-2020 if they anticipate being more than 30 minutes late for their appointment. Our staff members will do their best to accommodate patients who, due to traffic delays, are late for scheduled  appointments in the MS Institute, Multi-Specialty Clinic, Wound Clinic, Urology Clinic, Complex Concussion Clinic, Upper Extremity Clinic, Shepherd Spine and Pain Institute, Seating Clinic, Driving Program, Spinal Cord Injury Day Program and Outpatient Services, and Shepherd Pathways.
