Laurie Baker, Ph.D., ABPP-RP, is a board-certified rehabilitation psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist. Dr. Baker joined Shepherd Center in 2009 and completed the two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2011. Dr. Baker received her B.A. from Bemidji State University in MN, M.A. in Counseling and Community Psychology from Marist College in NY, and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University, New York. She completed her internship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY. She has several years of experience in research, brain imaging, cardiovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. She has been an active member of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychologists and committees and task forces with the American Psychological Association Divisions 22 and 40. Away from work, Dr. Baker loves to enjoy precious time at home or traveling with her family.
