About David Quintero, M.D.

Dr. Quintero obtained his medical degree at the Universidad Libre in Barranquilla, Colombia in 1997. He did his post-graduate training in internal medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from 2003-2007. He also completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2010.

Before joining Shepherd Center, Dr. Quintero was the medical director of the intensive care unit, cardiopulmonary services, and inpatient hospital medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southeastern Medical Center in Newnan, Georgia. He also served as assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Emory University and The Emory Clinic in Atlanta.
