Meet Shepherd Center’s Admissions Staff

The admissions process includes the assessment of the medical, clinical and psychosocial needs of each patient and family to ensure the most appropriate level of care.

The initial assessment process may be completed by phone or on-site visit by a Shepherd Center clinical evaluator.

When an admission has been approved by your insurance company and Shepherd Center, our clinical evaluator will work with your referring facility to arrange transportation. To help facilitate a smooth transition, we suggest that at least one family member accompanies the patient to Shepherd Center on the day of admission.
