Meet Shepherd Center’s Admissions Staff


The admissions process includes the assessment of the medical, clinical, and psychosocial needs of each patient and family to ensure the most appropriate level of care.

The initial assessment process may be completed by phone, via Zoom video conference or on-site visit by a Shepherd Center access case manager.

When admission has been approved by your insurance company and Shepherd Center, our access case manager will work with your referring facility to finalize the transfer. To help facilitate a smooth transition, we suggest that at least one family member accompanies the patient to Shepherd Center on the day of admission.
