Stephen Marsh serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Shepherd Center, overseeing the hospital's legal affairs and compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Mr. Marsh has significant healthcare experience, both as an Associate General Counsel at Fresenius Medical Care North America in Waltham, MA, and as a litigator at the Washington, D.C. firm of Arnold & Porter LLP. Mr. Marsh also previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for four years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Marsh was admitted to both the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. He was a clerk for Judge Duross Fitzpatrick of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and for Judge R. Lanier Anderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
When he is not practicing law, Mr. Marsh is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time with his family.
