Ashley is an occupational therapist who joined Shepherd Center as a spinal cord injury research fellow in 2021. Her time is divided between patient care and assisting the Hulse Research Lab with a variety of projects. She is currently supporting studies evaluating the application of non-invasive spinal stimulation for upper extremity function in chronic spinal cord injury and transcranial random noise stimulation to enhance cortical excitability for motor and sensory hand function in tetraplegia. Ashley’s goal is to promote collaboration and knowledge translation between clinicians and researchers to advance rehabilitative care and outcomes for people with spinal cord injury.
