Brain Injury Day Treatment Program
Acquired Brain Injury Day Program at Shepherd Pathways
Shepherd’s Brain Injury Day Program at Shepherd Pathways provides a continuation of recovery and traumatic brain injury treatment for patients with brain injury who no longer require 24-hour nursing care. The full-day program continues the rehabilitation track from an inpatient program, or from the community, and provides ongoing assessment and therapeutic intervention.
What to Expect in the Brain Injury Day Program
Shepherd Center's Brain Injury Day Program takes place at Shepherd Pathways, a nearby facility in Decatur, Georgia. This facility offers a large open treatment space, innovative technology and access to nearby community re-entry opportunities.
Day Rehabilitation Program services are provided five days per week and consist of individual and group-based treatments driven by patient-centered goals. Treatment is focused on community reintegration, which often means returning to home, work, school and leisure/recreation participation.
